The ATAA is a program which showcases the breeder who strives to produce working progeny through their dams/sires. The program is voluntary and requires the submission of information before any dogs are included in the tabulation. The owner of the submitting sire and/or dam MUST be a current member of the GSDCA. The titles are earned from January 1 to December 31 of the award year. The submission for the year must be made between January 1 and April 1 of the following year (ie by 4/1/25 for the 2024 award year). Submissions can be mailed in or submitted electronically by email with jpg or pdf attachments – or use the form below.
For each progeny title submitted, you will need to provide a copy of the AKC title certificate or a copy of the page in the GSD Review where the title was listed—and the date on the page must be visible. For SV titles a copy of the record book is needed. For SAR/Police titles the proof of certification is needed. If this is the first time the progeny will be introduced into the ATAA points tabulation, either proof of a conformation show placement or a copy of the judge’s attestation letter must also be submitted to show that the progeny is a purebred GSD with no disqualifying faults according to the breed standard.
